Definitely one of my favorite projects was the Molson Indy or the Grand Prix of Toronto. Not only was it one of our most well known clients, the adrenaline filled weekend was one of our projects that used the widest breath of services from event and environment design to sponsorship sales.
The Molson Indy has been a proud tradition of the city of Toronto for over 20 years. And the 21st year marked the year that the Grand Prix of Toronto took over and revolutionized motorsport history. pressure* was contracted to come in and turn up the heat in within the already action packed weekend, by adding a ton of entertainment features like a Battle of the Bands competition, 5 on 5 basketball tournament, Bikini and Lingerie contest, and the Grand Tuner World Championship. On top of that pressure* layed the foundation for a new type of automotive focused consumer trade show, packed with entertainment, where we were given the creative freedom and produced everything from concept development, vendor and sponsorship sales, to marketing design and interactive development. This turnkey event booster is one of our proudest projects to date, and as we leave the event to the Grand Prix Association we wish them well to carry that torch forward and take what we help them start to new heights in the future.
